CVT VASCULAR LAB
Full-Time Vascular Sonographer
Company Description:
CVT Vascular Lab, Inc. is a private practice vascular facility located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We specialize in non-invasive vascular testing, utilizing advanced, updated ultrasound equipment. Our team of registered sonographers is highly trained in vascular imaging with many years of experience in the field.
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Vascular Technologist. The Vascular Technologist will be responsible for conducting non-invasive vascular testing on patients, utilizing advanced ultrasound equipment, and analyzing the results. The Vascular Technologist will also be responsible for maintaining patient records and ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
Qualifications:
Must be eligible to become registered with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) RVT certification or Cardiovascular Credentialing international (CCI) RVS certification in Vascular Ultrasound
- Knowledge and understanding of vascular medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately document patient records
- Experience in vascular ultrasound is a plus

Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
The nature of the duties is to assist the physicians and physicians’ mid-levels (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) by providing direct patient care in areas of patient mobility, diagnostic testing, and general support. The MA performs technical duties to assist the patient and physician in maintenance of health care delivery standards. The MA treats patients in a caring, warm and professional manner.
Qualifications for the Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer technical or two year college training as a medical assistant.
- Prior experience as a medical assistant is desired.
- Good communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn computerized medical office work.
Medical Billers (Claim Management / Patient Accounting)
Job Description:
Full and part-time positions available for entry-level and/or experienced medical billers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some experience in a medical, hospital or dental billing office, understands medical billing terminology and has a general understanding of the medical billing process. In this position, you will join a team of experienced professionals and managers responsible for one or more clients. There is room for considerable growth based on performance.
These are in-person positions. Hours are 7:15a-4:30p M-Th and 7:15a-12:15p F.
Qualifications for the Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years’ previous experience in a healthcare business office setting
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Self-motivated and self-directed; able to work without supervision
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); working knowledge of billing software a plus
Surgical Coordinator/Scheduler
Job Description:
Full-time, on-site role for a Surgical Coordinator. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8- hour shifts.
This position is essential to our daily operations and requires a professional who can handle high-volume scheduling with clinical
accuracy. You will serve as the primary link between our surgeons, hospital operating rooms, and our patients to ensure all procedures are coordinated with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Specialized Scheduling: Manage and schedule complex vascular surgeries, vascular ultrasounds, and diagnostic procedures.
- Operating Room Coordination: Optimize the surgeon’s daily calendar and hospital block times, ensuring all equipment and room requirements for procedures are met.
- Professional Liaison: Act as the central point of communication between surgeons and hospital OR staff.
- Clinical Coordination: Guide patients through the scheduling process, including updating insurance and demographics. Ensure patients understand pre-operative instructions and follow-up schedules.
- Medical Clearances: Manage administrative functions to ensure all cardiac and medical clearances, lab results, and diagnostic imaging are secured well in advance of procedure dates.
- Confidentiality: Maintain professional conduct and strict adherence to HIP AA regulations regarding sensitive patient data.
Qualifications for the Position:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or specialized medical field. Experience in surgery settings highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong proficiency in medical and surgical terminology related to vascular health.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal skills to communicate effectively with specialized medical professionals and patients.
- Skills: Strong PC skills and the ability to maintain control of your own workflow in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to resolve scheduling conflicts and anticipate the specific needs of both the surgeon and the patient.
- Characteristics: Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a hardworking team player dedicated to excellent customer service.
